A sleek sofa with frugal design elements.

Tightly upholstered cushions combined with cleverly designed slim legs discriminates the sofa from any other piece currently available; transparent and emphasizing the design. The leg is an endless part of the sofa, continuing between arm and frame; slightly higher on the back, different from every angle, excellently able to be used as a free-standing sofa.

Rene Holten graduated at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and is currently working for various furniture manufacturers and architects. His designs for Artifort: Sofa “Tara “, Chairs Hanna, Nina, Dodo, (Dodo was awarded with the Dutch furniture price 1998) show brightness and simplicity.
