Grand Comfort Soft Sofa by Le Corbusier is an upholstered sofa with polished chrome tubular or laquered tubular frame. Cushions are stuffed with foam and down.
Upholstered with fabric or leather.
100% made in Italy

This model is faithful to the original prototype of the Grand Model of Le Corbusier Grand Confort. The Grand Confort Soft underlines the sharp contrast between the rigid metal frame and the soft, fluffy cushions stuffed with foam and dawn. The prototypes [1928] were obviously hand made and very roughly finished. The fact that the metal structure was welded together in one piece and could not be dismounted made it impossible to chrome the frame. Hence the decision to paint the original Grand Confort was dictated by necessity rather than stylistic choice. It was not until the end of the 1960s that the first models of sofas inspired by the Grand Confort appeared on the market. Nowadays is possible to have this sofa with chrome or laquered tubular frame.

White Glove Delivery Description of Service

All items purchased on Archistar.com are shipped using white glove delivery service to ensure that items arrive in perfect conditions.
The cost of our White Glove Delivery is 10% ONLY on the total price*.

*The maximum cost for the delivery will be 450 euro

Our WHITE GLOVE Delivery Service includes:

Delivery to: Inside your residence to room of your choosing.
Assembly Service: The delivery team will unpack the product and provide up to 45 minutes of light setup that can require basic tools (i.e. pieces will be screwed or bolted together, set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other).
Packaging: The shipper will remove and dispose of all packaging.

Please note that setup services DO NOT include any electrical, plumbing or component hookups. Please contact us if you feel you need these services.

Delivery Instructions

Your order will be delivered by a white glove freight carrier to ensure the safest and most convenient delivery.
The following should be noted:

A white glove delivery team consists of at least two people who will be in charge of carrying your order to your home from the back of the truck. This way you don't have to worry about transporting any heavy loads yourself.
Once your order arrives in your area, a representative from the white glove carrier will call you to arrange a 4 hour window for delivery. Please note that failure to receive the order at the time previously agreed on can result in a higher fee.
You must inspect your order at the time of delivery. If there is any sign of damage on the item or if you are concerned there may be damage, please make sure you write "Product Damaged" on the sheet you are asked to sign. This ensures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to resolve the problem.
